Recovery time of perforated appendix with abscess treated with antibiotics? - how long blood normal after antibiotics

Because I had atypical symptoms of one weeks pain (very low in the abdomen, blood work normal, no fever or pain), the doctors could not diagnose appendicitis. TAC is only after they have been able to see the attachment on the back of the bladder. Abcsess was broken and formed. Thanks to its high risk, physicians have decided not to run, but was prescribed antibiotics intravenously (2 days), followed by 2 weeks after oral antibiotics. My question is: How long is the recovery time for such a case? I had no information about this case. It's been two weeks and the pain is gone, the gas in the stomach was decreased markedly, but I still see a swelling of the right lower abdomen (especially in the morning when I wake up). Ideas? I have an appointment with the specialist next week.
